It is the policy of Adams Electric Company to conduct all operations with a maximum of safety. No phase of our operations or administration is more important than accident prevention. Our goal is to eliminate all personal injury and property damage. Adams Electric Company commits to having a safe working environment. We administer 10-Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A) training to all recognized superintendents, foremen, and management. During the 10-hour O.S.H.A. class, covered safety topics include fall protection, ladders, scaffolding, and personal protective equipment to implementing proper safety procedure in different situations. As well as on the job training, we hold weekly safety meetings at all of our jobsites! We also offer forklift training to all and mandate first aid/CPR to our superintendents.
Planning for safety starts with the company's job bid and continues through purchasing, construction, and maintenance. Accident prevention measures are integrated with operating functions and are a prime responsibility of company management.
While safety at the job site is the direct responsibility of your job superintendent, success in preventing accidents depends on the collective efforts of all employees.
Pre-job and regular safety meetings are held so that all employees have a full understanding of all job safety requirements.
